MISS C-LINE & The Rabidz is an electrifying project born from jam sessions that evolved into a bold musical journey. Featuring MISS C-LINE (vocals, lyrics, producer), Iannis Obiols (piano), James Iwa (bass), Eric Valle (drums), and Vernau Mier (alto saxophone), the group seamlessly blends live jazz instrumentation with hip-hop and R&B vocals, crafting a fresh take on neo-soul.
The debut album, released on October 13, 2023, draws inspiration from legends like J Dilla, The Roots, and contemporary innovators like Kendrick Lamar and Robert Glasper. Highlights include collaborations with rapper Jay Jules, featured on tracks “I Know You Do,” “Burnt,” and “Burnout,” and Casey Benjamin, who co-wrote “Burnout” during a New York session with MISS C-LINE. Recorded at Estudio Locale in Girona, the album was mixed by Jane Arnison and mastered by Rob Viso. MISS C-LINE & The Rabidz deliver a unique, boundary-pushing sound that redefines the modern era of jazz, hip-hop, and neo-soul. |
